Tim Cross is a residential and light-commercial architect who has been practicing building design and construction in Austin, Texas for over 35 years. He is also a trained ecologist. Before turning his attention towards architecture, he taught high school physics and worked in the field of environmental science. He served in the Peace Corps and then as the Environmental Advisor to the Government of Fiji in the late 1970s. However, throughout all his adventures, his primary passion has always been to learn as much as possible about this amazing experience called life. This book began as a simple letter to his two daughters but quickly grew into something unexpected.

Though Tim is an architect, this is not a book about architecture. It is, instead, a book about personal and cultural freedom and how the actual architecture of our universe fully supports our journey towards freedom. He defines freedom as letting go of those things in our lives that block us from experiencing our birthright, which is living fully within the flow of this infinite creation that is shaped and interconnected by Love. He is at a place in his life where his only remaining desire is to allow his experience of Love to deepen. The Architecture of Freedom is his personal journal describing what he has learned about living in this universe.
